D.J. Profile: Ricardo (Latin Music D.J.)

Each week, we'll be profiling one of the D.J.'s at AOL Radio who are responsible for bringing you the music. Here's a look at Ricardo, who is in charge of the Latin music stations.

Ricardo

New York, NY

Pop Latino, Tropical, Regional Mexicano, Reggaeton-Urbano, Salsa, Rock Latino, Jazz Latino, Amor, Sabor Cubano, Latin Dance-Electronic, and Navidad Latina. Also working on Spanish Oldies format.

How long have you worked at AOL Radio?

Since January 2008.

What was your music experience before joining AOL Radio?

Latin Music Director and Programmer for VH1.com and Urge.com. Prior to that, I managed the Latin, Dance, and Classical music charts for Billboard Magazine and billboard.com.

Pop Latino, Tropical, Salsa, Rock Latino, and Sabor Cubano because I enjoy the music.

AC/DC in Florida when I was fourteen. An audience member asked me if I had a quaalude, and I answered, "what's a quaalude?". :-)

Tell us something random about yourself...

I'm left-handed.
