Reggaeton singer Daddy Yankee (most well-known in the U.S. for his 2004 album 'Barrio Fino' featuring 'Gasolina') has just released his official first single titled 'Grito Mundial' from his ninth studio album 'Mundial,' set to hit stores in the Spring of 2010. The song -- which literally translates to "worldwide scream," -- is about looking past the social and musical divide and was produced by El Musicólogo and Menes "Los de la Nazza." Yankee attributes his new album to "a call to union through song and dance. Even in our toughest times, joy can bring us together." He is currently finishing his 'Talento de Barrio' world tour (to coincide with the soundtrack for the same-tilted movie starring and produced by Yankee). Be sure to listen to his new single on AOL Radio's Reggaeton/ Urbano station.
