British retailer John Lewis will be borrowing 'Sweet Child O' Mine' for their ad campaign, in hopes it will remind holiday shoppers of childhood. Sounds absurd, right? Well, ad agency Adam & Eve -- who have been working on the campaign -- say the tune "captures the innocent excitement of childhood in a very poignant way." At least it will be rerecorded by folk band Taken by Trees as Slash's guitar lick doesn't seem to cry out "holiday tune." See below for more details and other music news.
