'A Very Special Christmas 7' -- a compilation album set to release Nov. 23 -- features a new generation of talent to benefit Special Olympics: Colbie Caillat, The Carter Twins, Charice, Miley Cyrus (as Hannah Montana), Kristinia DeBarge, Gloriana, Vanessa Hudgens, Sean Kingston, Leighton Meester, Mitchel Musso, Kellie Pickler, Ashley Tisdale, and Carrie Underwood, who cover classics such as 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,' 'Santa Baby' and 'Hark! The Herald Angels Sing' among others. The initiative started in 1987, featuring such artists as U2, Bon Jovi, Madonna, Sting and Run-D.M.C. 8. A lot of singers have done covers of "The Christmas Song" but Charice is the first since Nate King Cole that puts Christmas magic into it! Her geniune emotions and clear vocals with just a taste of R&B makes this classic her own. This whole album is excellent and available now as a CD or download the album or individual songs. I highly recommend it, especially Charice's "The Christmas Song" . . . Thank you AOL radio for playing it for the holidays.
