'Heartbreak Warfare,' John Mayer's second single off 'Battle Studies' (released Nov. 17), captures the slew of emotions Mayer feels for a collapsed relationship. Nevermind who the tune is about; with Seal similarities, it screams of warfare metaphors, heartache and suffering: "Watch my face / As I pretend to feel no pain / Clouds of sulfur in the air / Bombs are falling everywhere."
