Award-winning composer Jesper Kyd has created another epic score, the soundtrack for 'Assasin's Creed II,' which dropped Nov. 16. Complimenting the game's storyline about a young Italian noble during the Renaissance era who befriends da Vinci and encounters Florence's most powerful families, the score is packed with acoustic guitar and vocal solos, symphonic orchestrations and a full choir – providing emotional depth at heartrending moments and intense anticipation leading up to action/battle scenes.
Additionally, the game's music will be debuting live Nov. 21 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris for the 'Video Games Live,' a concert which features top orchestras and choirs performing the most elite video game scores of all time. The game -- which debuted Nov. 17 -- is available for 'PLAYSTATION 3' and 'Xbox 360,' and will be released for PC in early 2010.
You can purchase the soundtrack at Amazon and iTunes, as well as listen to various selections of the soundtrack on AOL Radio's Video Game Scores station.
