Gibson Guitar Company Under Investigation

Gibson Guitar Company is under investigation for using illegal rosewood to make its instruments. US Fish and Wildlife Service raided Gibson's manufacturing plant last Tuesday (Nov. 17), where acoustic and electric guitars are made. Rosewood -- a premium component in guitars that can be found in the rainforests of Madagascar -- has been banned under the Lacy Act due to environmental concerns. See below for more info on the investigation and other music highlights.
