Lady Antebellum's sophomore album 'Need You Now' drops today, Jan. 26 -- bringing us signature harmonies and soulful, mid-tempo country twang. The country/pop trio -- who co-wrote eight of the 11 tracks -- admit they spent more time arranging the songs, adding a more mature sound to their new album. Co-produced by Paul Worley and Lady A members Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley, and Hillary Scott, 'Need You Now' already has two successful singles: the romantic title track about the longing of late night companionship and 'American Honey,' reminiscing on childhood memories where "church bells ring and strong love grows." The former -- with sounds of heartache and a notable piano intro -- won over Lady A fans, who ranked the tune as one of their Top Country Songs of 2009 on AOL Radio.
The group will be joining Tim McGraw on his 'Southern Voice' tour starting Feb. 11. Check out upcoming 'Southern Voice' tour dates, and go to AOL Radio's New Country First station to hear a selection of songs from Lady A's new album.
