Ryan Bingham's rustic vocals and raw production in 'The Weary Kind' won our hearts -- and a Golden Globe for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture. 'The Weary Kind' -- theme song for the acclaimed film 'Crazy Heart' -- was co-written by singer/songwriter Bingham and 10-time Grammy Award Winner T Bone Burnett, the latter penning the last verse's famous line: "You are the man that ruined her world."
But the theme song isn't Bingham's only contribution: the singer made his acting debut in the film -- alongside his band the Dead Horses -- after Burnett and the film's director Scott Cooper came out to hear the band a couple times. The soundtrack is currently available in stores (as of Jan. 19), while the flick is playing in selective theaters. To hear Bingham's single, tune into AOL Radio's Americana station.
