'Bury Me Alive' is the lead single off We Are the Fallen's untitled debut album, expected to drop this spring. The song is about a damaged relationship: "All I did was love you / And now I hate nightmare you've become / I can't let you fool me / I won't need you again."
Formed in 2009, 'We Are the Fallen' are comprised of former seventh-season American Idol contestant Carly Smithson, bassist Marty O'Brien (who's worked with Disturbed and Kelly Clarkson), and three former Evanescence members: guitarist Ben Moody, drummer Rocky Gray, and rhythm guitarist John LeCompt. The band's name is in reference to Evanescence's 2003 album, 'Fallen.' To hear We Are the Fallen's new single, tune into AOL Radio's New Alt First station.
