Former teen idol and singer/actor Leif Garrett was arrested at a downtown LA Metrolink station Monday morning for possession of a controlled substance, or what TMZ reports -- black tar heroin found in his shoe. Garrett was released Wednesday with a $10,000 bail and is expected to be back in court on Feb. 24. See below for more details and other music news.

1. I actually must be the only one who feels sorry for the guy. I know how if treats his fans, he's such a beautiful person and nobody deserves to be a slave to substance abuse. Here's hoping Leif makes an eventual recovery.
