'Everything to Me' is the first official single of Monica's sixth studio album 'Still Standing,' set to release Mar. 23. Written and produced by Missy Elliott, the soulful tune samples Deniece Williams' R&B 1981 hit 'Silly,' and showcases Monica's pipes as she confesses her incessant love for her "best friend" and "lover": "Boy if you ever left my, my side / It'd be like taking the sun from the sky...Cause I need you to shine, shine your life / You're everything to me."
