Serj Tankian 'The Charade' [Elect the Dead Symphony] -- New Song

Serj Tanian The Charade

Serj Tankian -- as known for his work as lead-vocalist for Grammy Award-winning band System of a Down -- is releasing an orchestral interpretation of his 2007 solo debut 'Elect the Dead.' Yes, Tankian has teamed up with a theatrical distributor to reveal a series of screenings performed at Auckland Town Hall in New Zealand by the 70-piece Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra. Entitled 'Elect the Dead Symphony,' the 14-track CD/DVD will debut on Mar. 9.

Tankian says of the new release: "The arrangements are quite different than those on the record, including bonus tracks never played live." Referring to two previously unreleased bonus tracks 'Gate 21' and 'The Charade,' the latter is currently playing on AOL Radio's Xtreme Alt Rock station. Check it out!
