'Baker Street' is a great story and a fantastic piece of music with brilliant guitar and sax solos.

I toured with the Doobie Brothers last year and really enjoyed hearing them play this song. It's got a laid back groove and the lyrics reflect my sentiments about music too...just let it flow. They are all wonderful people and gifted musicians.
I used to sing this song in my very early teenage band days. A masterpiece composition.
One of the coolest records ever made...in my humble opinion. If I knew what makes it so cool I would bottle it and give it away.
My man...Albert King. I love this song, his singing and his playing -- incomparable...deep blues infused with soul.
When I performed at the 2007 Ahmet Ertegun (celebration of life) concert in London at the O2 arena (some referred to it as the Led Zeppelin Reunion concert), they played 'Kashmir' -- the relentless drum beat, amazing vocals, and Indian-influenced strings. Add Jimmy Page and it was pure magic.
Heartfelt lyrics from a man [Peter Green] who suffered for his art and gave the world beautiful music ('Black Magic Woman,' 'Albatross' and others). I recently jammed with Mick Fleetwood and John McVie, this is one of the songs that we played and I was moved by its depth.

1. I first experienced Paul Rogers in 1970 when he fronted Free. They played a very small venue, a methodist church hall in Freer Street in Walsall in the West Midlands. They finished the Gig by playing a song that they were about to release two weeks later, Paul introduced the song by saying something along the lines of, this is our next single and we hope you like it and it is sucessful for us. The song "Alright Now", I think they say the rest is history. Paul has gone from strengh to strengh and given me personally 40 years of great music enjoyment. I have followed him from Free - Bad Comapny - The Firm and also and album he made with Kenny Jones The Sherrif. The saddest point for me was when Paul Kossof died and Free split. Thank you to Paul and the other lads, it was good to hear them perform again together.
