Blake Shelton's 'Hillbilly Bone Remix' featuring Trace Adkins is like the original up-tempo, rockabilly song but with a prominent, clapping-anthem backbeat and slightly overdubbed electric guitar. Soaked in rural pride, the duo point out that you don't have to have southern roots to appreciate a culture full of grits, fiddle-playing and "country queens," adding "we all got a hillbilly bone down deep inside / No matter where your from, you just can't hide it."
The song will be featured as a extra track on Shelton's forthcoming EP 'Hillbilly Bone,' one of two shorter six-song collections (or rather cleverly referenced as a 'Six-Pak'), in stores March 2. Tune into AOL Radio's New Country First station to hear the remixed single.
