'Livin the Life' is Martin Sexton's lead off single from his forthcoming ninth studio album 'Sugarcoating.' 'Livin' the Life' is one of the lighter subject-matter songs in an self-reflective album weighted by awareness and socio-political issues. Known for fusing soul, country and rock/blues, the folk singer/songwriter sings a jovial track about the joy of living: "Are you livin the life that you've always dreamed of / Giving your times to the ones' who make you smile, making your life worthwhile / Are you livin the life."
Sexton will be touring starting in April to promote 'Sugarcoating.' Check out upcoming tour dates (including stops at the New Orleans Jazzfest and Bonnaroo) and go to AOL Radio's Songwriters station to hear his new track.
