'Drop the World' is the third single of Lil Wayne's rock emphasized and seventh studio album 'Rebirth.' With a string-sounding synthesized melody, Lil Wayne raps about finding inner strength during hard times: "The spot gets smaller, and I get bigger / Tryna get into where I fit in, no room for a ni--a / But soon for a ni--a it be on, mu'f--a / 'Cause all the bullshit, it made me strong, mu'f---a." Eminem appears later in the track, after Lil Wayne delivers the first two hooks and two verses. The duo debuted the song live at the 52nd Grammy Awards alongside Blink-182 drummer, an amplified performance followed by the Drake-collaborated 'Forever.'
The song's paired music video is set to debut on MTV March 11. Directed by Chris Robinson, the video features destruction and chaos as mobs of people run through the streets of downtown L.A.
