'I'm Back' is (fittingly) T.I.'s new single off his seventh studio album, set to release Aug. 24. Helmed by Grand Hustle producers the TrackSlayerz Inf and Price, the track's repetitive catchy backbeat (with splices of extraterrestrial sound bites) has Tip rapping about how he will never let down his fans and intends to return to the top of the charts, squashing any haters for thinking he can't: "Any moment I decide that's enough of all your lies / Boy your buzz just died / Step inside super fly to the shoes in their coupe / Then exit out with all the b---hes like we always do."
"The track is hard. It brings you back to the old T.I. It's like a 'U Don't Know Me' type track," co-producer Inf (half of TrackSlayerz) tells vibe. " He's coming back with the aggressive, mean kind of swag." This will be Atlanta rapper's first single since his 10-month sentence behind bars for possession of unregistered firearms -- which ends March 26.
T.I.'s seventh studio effort will be the follow-up to his platinum-selling 2008 album, 'Paper Trail.' Tune into AOL Radio's New Hip-Hop First station to listen to the new track.
