You might not equate Oklahoma with hard rock, but that just means you haven't heard of Rocklahoma.Touted as one of the top can't-be-missed festivals by both Rolling Stone and Playboy magazines in 2008, Rocklahoma is exactly what it sounds like: an annual hard rock festival held in Pryor, Oklahoma, which has featured acts like Beautiful Creatures, Bang Tango, Lillian Axe, Gypsy Pistoleros and Faster Pussycat since its inception in 2007. Rocklahoma 2010 is set for Memorial Day weekend, May 28-30.
General admission tickets to the three-day festival cost $95, and Weekend Rocklahoma VIP Reserved Tickets cost $265, which will buy you prime reserved seats, reserved parking, and access to the VIP tent filled with comped food and drink. Various special weekend packages are also available if you want even more extras (and can afford to pony up for them).
