Ozzfest 2010 Lineup

Ozzy OzbourneGet ready to raise the devil horns -- Ozzfest 2010 is coming! For many heavy metal and hard rock junkies, Ozzfest is the festival du jour, having featured big-name artists like Pantera, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Marilyn Manson rock the stage in the past.

The festival's roots are pure rock 'n' roll: when Ozzy Osbourne was refused a spot in Lollapalooza in 1996, Ozzy's wife Sharon created their own namesake festival. Two years later, Ozzfest extended past the States into the U.K.

Ozzfest was on hiatus in 2009 while Ozzy worked on a studio album, but this year it's back, he verbally confirmed to Sirius-XM in late January. According to the Prince of Darkness, the festival kicks off in August and will be traveling across the country. Announced in late April, the fest will cover six American cities and will be co-headlined by Ozzy and Mötley Crüe. This marks the latter's first-ever appearance on the tour, and the first time since 1984 Ozzy and the Crüe share the stage. Rob Halford, DevilDriver and Nonpoint will also be populating the main stage. Each date will include 13 bands spread across two stages, with music beginning at 1:00PM.
