Coachella Festival 2010 Lineup

For indie and alternative worshippers, Coachella Festival 2010 (as well as it's predecessors) is well worth driving out to the middle of the desert. Founded in 1999 and held at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California, the all-ages Coachella Festival is an annual showcase of arts and musical performances, spanning everything from hip-hop to electronic to alternative acts.

Tickets for Coachella Festival 2010, held April 16-18, are on sale now, and will set you back $269 if bought online, $285 at brick-and-mortar stores. Coachella also offers campgrounds for festival-goers, and camping tickets can also be bought online and in-store. But hell -- a chance to see Jay-Z, De La Soul and MGMT in a single weekend might well be worth the price.
