'Way Down' is one of the new tracks off Taylor Hawkins & the Coattail Riders' sophomore LP 'Red Light Fever,' in stores April 20. Hawkins -- the current drummer for the Foo Fighters -- and Coattail Riders bassist Chris Chaney, guitarist Gannin Arnold and touring guitarist Nate Wood brought in Car's Elliot Easton, Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor and Foo Fighters' frontman Dave Grohl for the project.
The mid-tempo 'Way Down' taps into '70s glam rock with bass-driven runs, feedback guitar riffs and tenor harmonies led by Hawkins. A follow-up to the band's 2006 self-titled debut, the 'Red Light Fever' will include the highlighted tracks 'Not Bad Luck' and 'Hell to Pay,' among others.
