'Die by the Drop' is the first single off the Dead Weather's sophomore release 'Sea of Cowards,' expected to debut May 11. The track showcases the supergroup members' best assets -- but most notably Dean Fertita's feedback riffs and the harsh echoed vocals traded off by Alison Mosshart and Jack White.
The music video for the track, debuting April 6, is helmed by Floria Sigismondi, who also directed the acclaimed flick 'The Runaways' and the White Stripes' 'Blue Orchid.' You can check out a promotional teaser here.
The supergroup includes Alison Mosshart (The Kills and Discount), Jack White (The White Stripes and The Raconteurs), Dean Fertita (Queens of the Stone Age) and Jack Lawrence (The Raconteurs and The Greenhornes). 'Sea of Cowards' follows the their 2009 debut 'Horehound.'
