'Drunk Girls' is the new single off LCD Soundsystem's forthcoming untitled release, in U.S. stores May 18. Helmed by project creator and producer James Murphy, the first official single encompasses punk attitude: electro-driven melodies, retro feedback riffs and heavy dance backbeats as Murphy playfully sings a new 2010 party anthem for the drunks girls -- how their behavior is by far advantageous over drunk boys, who "steal from the cupboards." Other tracks featured on the band's third studio effort include: 'Dance Yourself Clean,' 'One Touch,' 'All I Want,' 'I Can Change,' 'You Wanted A Hit,' 'Pow Pow,' 'Somebody's Calling Me' and 'Home.'
The track was serendipitously leaked just in time for the band's world tour, which launches April 16 at Coachella, continuing with UK/Europe headline dates, stopping Tenn. for Bonnaroo and Manhattan at Terminal 5 on May 20 and 21, and ending Sept. 12 at the Isle of Wight Bestival.
