Against Me! 'I Was a Teenage Anarchist' -- New Song

Against Me I Was a Teenage Anarchist

'I Was a Teenage Anarchist' is the first single off Against Me!'s forthcoming album 'White Crosses,' expected to hit stores on June 8. The pop-y punk song with guitar-driven riffs showcases Gabel's brash vocals as he sings about (exactly what the title says) -- the ignorant, brazen revolutionary starters: "I had the style, I had the ambition / Read all the authors I knew the right slogans / There was no war but the class war / I was ready to set the world on fire."

'White Crosses' is the Clash-sounding band's fifth studio album, helmed by Butch Vig, who also produced 2007's 'New Wave.' 'I Was a Teenage Anarchist' is a sure track on the band's playlist while on tour, which covers North America and Europe, in addition to Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Festsaal Kreusberg (in Berlin) and Oya Festival (in Olso).
