With the success of Stereophonics' seventh studio album 'Keep Calm and Carry on' in the U.K., the Welsh band will be testing the waters abroad, specifically the U.S., releasing their studio effort on May 11 (with a digital release of May 4). Initially released in the U.K. Nov. 16, the album's title was named after the name of a British World War II poster and was co-produced by frontman Kelly Jones and producer Jim Abiss (who has previously worked with Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian).
Slightly more alternative than their typical indie sound, the quartet have produced a 12-track set that boasts several catchy tracks, such as the beat bluesy 'She's Alright' as well as the heavy glam rock of 'I Got Your Number.' 'Beerbottle' features an electronica reverb melody and 'Trouble' borrows from '80s Brit-punk, fusing pop with it's "nah-nah-nahs."
