Heineken 'Boss's Daughter' Commercial -- What's the Song?

Heineken's latest beer commercial employs the dry, reverb-heavy guitar riff of the Cold War Kids' song 'Mexican Dogs' to great effect -- in this minimalist tale of a young executive making a bold first move on his intimidating boss's daughter.

The Fullerton, California-based band spent much of the last two years on the road in support of their sophomore 2008 studio effort 'Loyalty to Loyalty,' which features this Tom Waits-sounding track. They are currently in the studio with producer Jacquire King (who has collaborated with Modest Mouse, Norah Jones, Kings of Leon) working on a follow-up that they promise will take their punk and soul-influenced indie-rock sound to a whole new level.

The quartet initially released several EPs in '05 and '06, but it was their 2006 studio debut 'Robbers & Cowards' that put them in the limelight, heavily due to their radio smash hit 'Hang Me Up to Dry.'

Check out the commercial below, and be sure to check out the band's studio performance of 'Everyman I Fall for,' also from their most recent album 'Loyalty to Loyalty,' on Spinner's Interface:
