Bret Michaels is currently conscious and slowly speaking for the first time since his brain hemorrhage last week, according to Michaels' rep. This follows yesterday's news about Michaels' troubling test results that show he suffers from hyponatremia (where the body receives inefficient amounts of sodium, leading to seizures). Michaels has been hospitalized since April 22 due to a brain hemorrhage. According to yesterday's update on the singer's Facebook page, "Doctors remain hopeful for a full recovery and plan to release more specific information next Monday." 1. I am so relieved that Bret is finally conscious and
at least slowly speaking! This guy I swear has more
than 9 lives! He's been in motorcycle and car wrecks, had some close calls with his diabetes, survived a bump on the head, at an awards show, and
only had minor bruising. He survived, and recovered
somewhat from having his appendix out and now this!
He's amazing and God is looking out for the kind-hearted front man of the group Poison! At least somebody up there wants Bret to be here on earth and that's fine with me! Keep up the good work Bret! :)
