Acclaimed singer-actress Lena Horne passed away on Sunday, May 9. She was was 92. Horne made her first cameo appearances in the '40s in MGM musicals, such as Cole Porter's 'Panama Hattie' and 'Cabin in the Sky,' transitioning over to singing in the '50s. Her recordings and night club performances garnered her four Grammy awards and eight nominations. 'Porgy and Bess' -- a collaboration with Harry Belafonte -- is notably her best album from a discography of 25.
