Jay-Z and Eminem, arguably hip-hop's two biggest stars of the past 10 years, are teaming up for a pair of historic concerts this fall, performing shows together at the baseball stadiums in each of their respective hometowns: New York City and Detroit. Each artist will headline in their own city, with Eminem hosting the festivities on Sept. 2 at Detroit's Comerica Park, and Jay-Z returning the favor at New York's Yankee Stadium on Sept. 13. Tickets for both shows go on sale June 12.
Jay-Z is still riding high on the monstrous success of his hometown tribute, 'Empire State of Mind,' from the 'Blueprint 3' album. Eminem currently stands atop the Billboard singles charts with 'Not Afraid' -- the first single from his new album, 'Recovery' -- which is due in stores June 22.
