Enrique Iglesias -- 2010 New Album Preview

Enrique IglesiasIt's been a good three years since we last heard any new material from Enrique Iglesias, the statuesque son of legendary musician Julio Iglesias. This summer, though, that's all about to change, thanks to the release of a brand new 2010 album from the Spanish-born crooner.

The album, titled 'Euphoria,' will be Iglesias' first studio album since 2007's 'Insomniac,' and his first bilingual original release ever. And according to the bilingual star, the experience of recording in two different languages was unforgettable. "It's so different from what I've done in the past -- every single song is like a different world," Iglesias said to PopEater a few days ago. So far, there hasn't been an official track list or release date announced for Iglesias' forthcoming record.

On April 26, Iglesias did release the new album's first single, titled 'Cuando Me Enamoro,' on his site. That was followed up shortly afterward by the release of his his English single, 'I Like It,' featuring Pitbull, which dropped in the U.S. on May 3, on iTunes. The single has also been picked up as the lead track off of the official 'Jersey Shore Soundtrack.'

So far, the rest of the album remains a mystery. During a January 12 announcement on his SayNow account, though, Iglesias promised that his next record, at the very least, would be different. "I'm gonna have a bunch of people that will be working with me on this album that I think are gonna make it very different from my prior albums," the singer says. And although it may not end up going down in history as his all-time best work, Iglesias is confident that his new album is definitely "the most eclectic and the most exciting album I've done, I think, in my career."
