According to yesterday's Facebook posting, Bret Michaels is back in the hospital. The rocker suffered a Transient Ischematic Attack (TIA), otherwise known as a "warning stroke," just weeks following his near-fatal brain hemorrhage. When an Ultrasound Bubble test of Michaels' heart was done, Michaels' doctors (specifically Dr. Zabramski, Dr. Becker, Dr. Cook and Dr. Frey) unfortunately found and confirmed a hole in his heart, known as Patent Forum Ovale. "There is no doubt that the positive Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) is devastating news to Bret and his family," Michaels' neurosurgeon, Dr. Joseph Zabramski stated. "The good news is that it is operable and treatable and we think we may have diagnosed the problem that caused the Transient Ischemic Attach (TIA) or warning stroke."
