Ford Fiesta Commercial -- What's the Song?

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic ZerosThe recent commercial for the 2011 Ford Fiesta features the song 'Janglin' by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, included on their 2009 debut album 'Up from Below.' In the commercial, the song's bouncy horn section and mostly wordless female vocals provide the soundtrack, as an entire city block -- with dancers, balloons, parachutists and ribbons -- celebrate the car's new keyless, push-button ignition feature.

The Los Angeles-based band was assembled by Alex Ebert, best known for his work with the power-pop band Ima Robot. Ebert assembled this particular band to bring to life the musical tale of the fictional Edward Sharpe, who is sent to earth to save mankind but ends up mostly chasing romance instead. True to the communal spirit of the music, the group spent part of last year touring the country in a big white school bus, and will return to the road for most of this summer in support of 'Up from Below.'

Check out the commercial below, and listen to 'Janglin' and other songs from Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros on AOL Radio's New Indie First station.
