'True Blood' Volume 2 Soundtrack -- New Album

Just before the June 13th, Season 3 kick-off of the hit series 'True Blood' are we able to get our hands on Season 2's paired soundtrack. Yes, 'True Blood: Music From the HBO Original Series - Volume 2' will be available May 25, and features songs by heavyweight artists such as Bob Dylan, Lucinda Williams with Elvis Costello, Beck, Robbie Robertson and more.

Highlights off the 14-track compilation include DJ King Britt's 'New World in My View' -- which samples an early 1970's gospel recording by evangelist and poet Sister Gertrude Morgan -- as well as Beck's 2007 electro, experimental rock single 'Timebomb.'

Bob Dylan's harmonica-driven 'Beyond Here Lies Nothin' -- the opening track off his 2009 album, 'Together Through Life' -- is also another prominent track on the album. About addiction and consequences that follow, the song was included in the 12th and final episode of season 2 series, fittingly titled the same name.

Just in the past year, 'True Blood' won Emmy awards for 'Best Drama Series' and 'Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series,' and also earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Television Series - Drama.
