Drake drops his third single, 'Miss Me,' off his debut studio album 'Thank Me Later,' in stores June 15. The Boi-1da and 40 (Noah Shebib)-produced single features Lil Wayne in the second verse, as both he and his Young Money protégé deliver lines about not only living the rapper lifestyle but killin' it: "Thats why me and lil jazz bout to spaz can you keep up / I'm just feeling sorry for whoever got to sweep up / yeah bills everywhere, trill everything / and Drake just stand for Do Right And Kill Everything."
In contrast, the hook has Drake singing a slowed-down verse where he hopes that his girl will miss him while he's out on the road: "You know what it is when I finally make it home / I just hope you miss me a little when I'm gone." An earlier version titled 'All Night Long (Miss Me)' hit the web a few weeks ago, without Weezy and with an entirely different hook.
Drizzy's single 'Miss Me' will be available on iTunes June 1, but you can hear it now on AOL Radio's New Hip-Hop First station.
