The recent "Camp Vegas" tourism commercial features the song 'Animal' from Neon Trees. The track comes from their album 'Habits,' which was released in the spring of 2010. The commercial positions Las Vegas as a summer camp for adults: Knot-tying, birdwatching and other camp activities are assigned new, more risque definitions through a series of glamorous nightlife images. Lead singer Tyler Glenn invites the listener to join in on the fun over a peppy, dance-rock beat: "Say goodbye to my heart tonight, I want some more, what are you waiting for?"
The band formed in Utah several years ago and got their big break as the opening act for a series of dates on The Killers' 2008 tour. After recording and releasing 'Habits,' Neon Trees spent most of the spring of 2010 opening for 30 Seconds to Mars, and will tour this summer as headliners on the Bang the Gong tour with Paper Tongues and Civil Twilight.
Check out the commercial below, and listen to 'Animal' and other songs from Neon Trees on AOL Radio's Alternative Mix station.

1. Neon Trees blew the "roof" off at Summerfest Music Festival. Mesmerizing, terrific set. Generous to their fans, they came out after and took a million pictures.
