On his latest EP, Chris Young covers some of his favorite country music "voices," specifically Keith Whitley for his version of the new single, 'I'm Over You.' "Everybody knows I'm a huge Keith Whitley fan," Young recently explained to The Boot when covering Whitley's tune. "But this has been on of my favorite Keith Whitley songs for years and years and years... This is like my breakup song."
Coincidentally, 'I'm Over You' was co-written by Tim Nichols, who also helped write Young's previous No. 1 hit, 'The Man I Want to Be.' 'I'm Over You' is one of three songs off Young's all-acoustic EP, appropriately titled 'Voices.' The other two are Vern Gosdin's 'Chiseled in Stone' and John Anderson's 'Swingin'.'
'I'm Over You' is currently available on the 'Voices' EP -- exclusively on iTunes -- and can be heard on AOL Radio's New Country First station.
