Jack Johnson recently performed live on AOL Sessions, sharing new tracks off his breezy, acoustic and electric guitar-fused 'To the Sea.' Out today, June 1, the album follows the Hawaiian singer-songwriter's 2008 effort 'Sleep Through the Static.'"There's slightly more electric guitar on this album just because last year I started playing more electric guitar on the road," explains Johnson. "I just felt a little more comfortable so there's a bit more electric guitar and a bit more of actually going back and sitting down with an acoustic guitar -- a little more dynamic."
The sessions feature four new songs, specifically his rhythm guitar-driven 'You and Your Heart,' 'No Good With Faces' featuring a harmonica-sounding intro, the piano-led 'My Little Girl' with a percussion back-beat (made by lightly tapping the guitar chords) and the upbeat 'From the Clouds,' accompanied by a bellowing accordion.
