Brad Paisley joins a slew of other exclusively-ranked artists, as Gibson recently came out with a new acoustic guitar, designed and named just for him, the Brad Paisley J-45. According to The Boot, the newly-designed guitar was custom-made in Bozeman, Mont., with a J-45 "round-shouldered" dreadnought, an Adirondack Red Spruce top, and a mahogany-detailed back, as well as sides. The neck is also made of mahogany, a one-piece with "modified V" profile and 24 3/4"-scale rosewood fingerboard.
Gibson's generosity is quite timely, as the southern rocker recently lost most of his collection due to the Nashville floods.
Kris Kristofferson, John Hiatt, Randy Scruggs, Elvis Costello, John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Emmylou Harris and Arlo Guthrie are just some of the legendary musicians who received a specially-designed and named guitar.
