The recent commercial for the Palm webOS features the song 'Home' from Edward Sharpe and the Magnetics. The song is available on their debut album 'Up from Below.' As the upbeat acoustic guitars and group whistling from 'Home' play, a man is shown walking and organizing his daily life through his smartphone's display, which appears to float in front of him. He then makes a call as the band sings "Home / Let me come home / Home is wherever I am with you."
The Los Angeles-based band was inspired by group founder Alex Ebert's time in a 12-step program, following the breakup of a romantic relationship. They will be touring most of this summer in support of 'Up from Below.' The band's song 'Janglin,' also from the same album, was featured in a recent Ford Fiesta commercial.
