A never-before-heard Pearl Jam song titled 'Better Days' was accidentally leaked a few days ago on the web. According to Spinner, music blog Antiquiet came across a digital posting of the track, which appeared on Pearl Jam's official site for their label -- Monkeywrench Records. Driven by melodic accordions, soft percussion and an epic mandolin solo, the song is reminiscent of 'Long Road,' a resurrection of the late Beatles sound and off Pearl Jam's 1995 extended play 'Merkin Ball,' which also featured Neil Young.
Die-hard fans off Pearl Jam's Ten Club website are convinced the song is from recording sessions for the 2003 album 'Riot Act,' but that this version – based on Eddie Vedder's vocals – is more recent.
The posting has since been taken off Monkeywrench Records' site, but you can hear the track in it's entirety on Antiquiet.com.
