The recent song 'Love the Way You Lie' is yet another all-star collaboration from Eminem's new album 'Recovery.' This time, R&B diva Rihanna joins "Slim Shady" to tell the story of a couple who can't stay apart despite bringing out the worst in each other. Over a mid-tempo beat colored by acoustic guitars, Eminem takes the role of a man who can't control his anger around his equally volatile partner, rationalizing to himself that "maybe that's what happens when a tornado meets a volcano."
Meanwhile, as strings swell on the chorus, Rihanna portrays a woman who's not ready to leave despite the danger: "Just gonna stand there and watch me burn / Well, that's alright because I like the way it hurts / Just gonna stand there and watch me cry / Well, that's alright because I like the way you lie."
'Love the Way You Lie' is the fourth song to hit the airwaves from 'Recovery,' following 'Not Afraid,' 'Won't Back Down' featuring Pink, and 'No Love' with Lil Wayne.
Eminem recently announced that the release date for 'Recovery' has now been moved up one day, to June 21. In the meantime, you can hear 'I Love the Way You Lie' by Eminem and Rihanna on AOL Radio's New Pop First station.

1. I love how Rhianna decides to sing a song about being abused and 'loving' it, after she gets 'beat' by Chris brown. She deserves NO sympathy for what happened to her after this. It's her own damn fault this time. This is such a fail thing to do. Even if it's HER life. Shes sending the WRONG message out to her 'fans'. Abuse is NOT fun, no matter how much in "love" you are. Love does not consist of being beaten to a bloody pulp.
