'Keep the Change' is the first single from country singer Darryl Worley's forthcoming new album, the so-far untitled follow-up to 2009's 'Sounds Like Life.' The song's title doesn't refer to leaving a healthy tip at the local diner, but instead serves as a rejection of recent changes in our country. Over a steady, mid-tempo beat with strong rock influences, Worley trumpets conservative values and laments recent shifts in our country: "I watch the news and have to wonder if this country's going crazy / Talkin' bout how much they love it here but how they wanna rearrange it / Gonna keep our god, our freedom, a little money in the bank / Y'all can keep the change."
A release date for the crooner's forthcoming release should be announced shortly. In the meantime, Worley will be playing select dates throughout the summer in support of the new album. You can listen to 'Keep the Change' now over at AOL Radio's New Country First station.
