have returned with 'Caravan,' their new single and an extremely early preview of their upcoming album 'Clockwork Angels,' which is not expected to be released until the Spring of 2011.The song is a catchy, relatively straightforward rocker by this trio's standards, which means Geddy Lee is still, most likely, doing seventeen different things at once on bass, keyboards and foot pedals.
At least in the lyrics he's honest with himself about his ambitious nature: "The caravan thunders onward / Stars winking through the canvas hood / On my way at last / I can't stop thinking big / In a world where I feel so small."
Rush will reportedly continue working on the still-unfinished new record during breaks from their summer-long tour schedule. In the meantime, you can get your first taste of the new album by listening for 'Caravan' on AOL Radio's Progressive station.
