Drake's new song, 'Light Up' featuring Jay-Z, gives the rest of the world a glimpse into what it feels like to be Drake. The song may begin with a delicate, grand piano meldoy, but within a few seconds, it bursts into clapping, persistent beats, with a tight verse from Lil Wayne (recorded from prison) before Jay-Z enters the ring with his own unmistakeable flow. In essence, the song allows us into the luxurious lives of some of hip-hop's heavyweights, making us wonder what it must feel like to be Jay-Z, who comically admits "I don't do too much blogging / I just run this town, I don't do too much jogging."
'Light Up' is featured on Drake's new debut studio album, 'Thank Me Later,' which dropped on June 15 and boast the singles, 'Over,' 'Find Your Love' and 'Miss Me.'
