Bush is making a comeback in 2010. With the release of a new single titled 'Afterlife,' the band will be dropping their upcoming fifth studio effort, 'Everything Always Now,' slated for October and produced by Bob Rock (Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith) -- who helmed Gavin Rossdale's solo debut, 2008's 'Wanderlust.'With heavy percussion, a poppy chorus and a looping, electric guitar melody -- which mimicks Rossdale's vocals -- 'Afterlife' is our first glimpse of the forthcoming effort's sound.
The post-grunge rockers lineup now consists of guitarist Chris Traynor (who played briefly in 2002), bass player Corey Britz, original drummer Robin Goodridge (who recently rejoined) and, of course, vocalist and Gwen Stefani's husband Rossdale.
Now scheduled to play at this year's Epicenter festival Sept. 25-26 -- where Eminem and Kiss will also be making appearances -- the band could possibly roundup a handful of concerts this fall to promote 'Everything Always Now.'
'Afterlife' is Bush's first song in nine years, following the release of their experimental 2001 album 'Golden State.' To hear the new single, tune into AOL Radio's New Alternative First station.
