Bon Jovi has been quite busy since Feb. 11, entertaining the world while on their massive 'The Circle Tour' to promote their 2009 album, 'The Circle.' 135 concerts are planned for the tour, which is expected to cover 30 countries and run through 2011. And now PopEater has behind-the-scenes footage of their first performances (May 26, 27, 29) at the brand new New Meadowlands Stadium (formerly Giant Stadium) in East Rutherford, N.J. The rockers performed in front of nearly 55,000 fans the first night, and made history by being the first band to perform at the new venue.
The footage features their latest single, 'Work for the Working Man,' which reflects on the honest worker, who's just "trying to make a living."
"If you like your job -- no matter what it is -- embrace it," frontman Jon Bon Jovi explains in the video. "You might hate it some days, and there are days that I hate it. But the truth is [that] at the end of the day, you got to love it. And I love it," he says.
Bon Jovi will be playing at New Meadowlands Stadium again on July 9. But don't wait too long to get tickets -- that concert, as well as the rest of the year's performances through Dec. 17, are going fast!
