Morgan Harrington Case -- New Evidence Revealed

Morgan HarringtonNew evidence has been uncovered in the murder case of Morgan Harrington, the Metallica fan who disappeared after the band's October 17, 2009 concert in Virginia.

According to Noisecreep, investigators have reported that unspecified forensic evidence from Harrington's case matches evidence from another unresolved case, the abduction and sexual assault of a Northern Virginia woman back in 2005.

A sketch of the suspect from that case has been released based on that victim's memory, but police advise the man may have altered his appearance since that attack.

The investigation into Harrington's death will proceed as her family continues to grieve. Authorities have been tight-lipped on the nature of the evidence left behind, but Morgan's family stated that an abundance of physical evidence, including shattered bones, was found at the scene of the crime.

Harrington's mother Gil posted an understandably vengeful message on the family's website following the new revelations: "That corpse will not rest. Morgan wants justice. A day of reckoning is coming!"
