Korn's second single, 'Let the Guilt Go,' definitely reveals a raw sound dating back to their early records -- an overall, stylistic theme found on their upcoming ninth studio album 'Korn III: Remember Who You Are,' in stores July 13. What's different in this song, though, is that their earlier sound -- exemplified in the chorus of only vocals and tamer, guitar-reverb effects -- is paired with Jonathan Davis' newer, reflective storytelling. Specifically, in 'Let the Guilt Go,' Davis speaks of living a life only for oneself, rather than spending it worrying about what others would have wanted: "I'm such a stupid f--- / Listening to my head and not my gut / Constantly thinking and thinking / Now we waste our lives away / Letting guilt lead the way."
The band first performed the song July 1 on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' alongside the album's first single 'Oildale (Leave Me Alone).'
