Since his release from jail, T.I. has been busy promoting new street anthems. And now with 'Ya Hear Me,' the Southern rapper has three releases on the radio airwaves, all to be featured on his highly-anticipated seventh studio album, 'King Uncaged.' Over soulful, organ-sounding keyboards and heavy percussion, T.I. continues to reiterate that he's back, full force, with no hesitation: "We gonna do it big like we did before / Fresh off a case / Asap motivation hoe guess that's all it take." He even pokes fun of his conviction for possession of firearms: "They say I can't have no pistol, so I bought a bow and arrow."
The album has a street date of Sept. 28 and features collaborations with Lady Gaga ('Lick It'), Trey Songz ('Strip') B.o.B. ('Dream Me Up') and The-Dream ('Show Me Your Tears'), among others. The rapper compared his new album to Tupac's 1996 post-prison album 'All Eyez On Me'. "Given the enormous success of that project, everyone is expecting the same results. I just want to meet the expectations, if not surpass them," he recently told Rolling Stone.
'Ya Hear Me' follows smashing singles 'I'm Back' and 'Yeah Ya Know (Takers)' -- the latter to be featured on and upcoming action-thriller 'Takers' which stars T.I., alongside Matt Dillon, Chris Brown and Zoe Saldana, among others
